Jared Wilks

Vice President of Finance

As Vice President of Finance, Jared Wilks leads HireVue’s accounting, FP&A, legal, and infrastructure functions.  A skilled corporate administrator, Wilks brings to HireVue experience amassed from other successful software companies, including Mozy (now owned by VMware) and Investools (now owned by TDAmeritrade).  In each case, his solid financial management helped generate exponential value growth.

Wilks initiated his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Business Assurance Services serving clients in Oil and Gas, Aerospace, Manufacturing, and Financial Services.  He then took controllership responsibility at the renowned Cooper Clinic in Dallas, Texas where he led the modernization of financial systems during an expansion period.

Wilks advises other technology startups, several having now seen successful funding events.  He has been co-instructor of Accounting and Finance for Non-Financial Managers at Brigham Young University and enjoys instructing individually on the subject of Personal Financial Management.  He earned both a masters degree and a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University in Professional Accountancy and is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Fraud Examiner.
